Ireland Tour Packages 2022 and 2023
Welcome to Ireland, a land where culture and people meet in a splendor of colorful, imaginative wonder. Ireland, known as the land with 40 shades of green, is a country with a rich history that dates back several thousand years, with a fascinating Celtic heritage. With green hills and fields surrounded by some of the most spectacular coastlines in the world, the landscape of Ireland makes a perfect vacation setting. There is so much to see and do that Ireland vacation packages will appeal to almost everyone. It is also an economical vacation compared to other areas of Europe. There are frequent air specials available and flights from New York to Dublin only take about 6 hours, typically.
Best Time to Take an Ireland Tour Package
June through August is the most popular time for tourists due to the warmer weather and better presence of sunshiny days. This time of year, Ireland has longer days with the sun setting around 11 PM local time. We usually recommend considering the spring or fall months for Ireland tours since the tourist areas are typically less crowded and the weather is still pleasant during the day (although the nights are somewhat colder).
Rain showers are common during the spring afternoons, but these usually stop within a few hours and afford memorable views of rainbows over the countryside. We believe that the best months to travel are May, June and October.
Getting to Ireland
Several airlines fly into Dublin, including Delta, Aer Lingus, and United. Several major airports on the East Coast of the U.S. offer direct flights into Dublin or Shannon airports.
Ireland is 304 miles long and 172 miles wide. The country is on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and does follow daylight savings time, just like the U.S. In Northern Ireland, the currency is the sterling, but in the rest of the country, the euro is used. Banks and ATM machines can be found in the larger cities and credit cards are widely accepted.
